Custom Wood Carved Map

Custom Carved Wood Maps – Crafted Just for You

Bring Your Favorite Place to Life in Solid Wood

Capture the landscapes that matter most with a one-of-a-kind carved wood map, made to order from your chosen location. Whether it’s a beloved hometown, a breathtaking hiking trail, or the lake where you spent your summers — your story becomes art, precision-carved into beautiful hardwood.

How to order:
Select from the available options and check out.
Email us at custom@muir-way.com with your property location and any relevant information we can use to get an accurate understanding of the area you'd like.
We will email you within 2 business days with a mockup of the area. You can give us revisions until we have it right.
Once we have an approved mockup, we will start production.
Allow 2-5 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the map, and our current order volume.

Each Map takes 20-50 hours of production time:

  • Custom design based on accurate elevation data of your selected area

  • Meticulously carved from solid Maple or Walnut

  • Finished with a protective polyurethane coating for long-lasting beauty

  • Lakes and rivers can be added with Blue Epoxy

  • Handmade with care in a small workshop setting

Crafted with Natural Character
Wood is full of life, and no two pieces are alike. You can expect natural variations in color, grain, and texture — all part of what makes your piece truly unique. Some maps may include subtle glue lines or joined wood pieces to accommodate your design — always matched as seamlessly as possible.

Sizing & Framing Notes
For maps larger than 12” x 12”, a wooden frame may be added to help prevent natural cupping and ensure your piece stays flat and display-ready.

Turnaround Time
Your custom map will be ready in approximately 4 – 5 weeks, depending on design complexity and current order volume.
